Annie Gill is a versatile singing actor who is equally at home on the operatic stage and the Netflix studio. As an expressive full lyric soprano, Ms.Gill has conquered over thirty operatic roles, most notably Mozart’s Donna Anna and La Contessa, Puccini’s Musetta, and as Elena Firenzi in Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me A Soprano. Alongside pianist Andrew Stewart she released the album Songs of Love and Hope featuring the music of Dvořák, Fibich, Smetana, Kaprálová, Martinů, and Bodorová, some of which had never been previously recorded. She has an active career as a voice-over artist and actor, appearing in eighty national and regional commercials and twenty feature films. Highlights include the “Opera Singer" in the Season 2 Finale of House of Cards (Netflix) and as Maeve in the feature film Wild Fire.

Most recently, Ms. Gill performed the role of opera singer Elena Firenzi in the Regional Premiere of Ken Ludwig’s Lend Me A Soprano with New Stage Theatre in Jackson, Mississippi, and appeared for the seventh time as Soprano Soloist in Handel’s Messiah with the Landon Symphonette under the baton of Maestro Stephen Czarkowski. A frequent collaborator with Maestro Czarkowski, Ms.Gill also has also appeared as Soprano Soloist with the Central Pennsylvania Symphony in both their 2024 and 2025 Winter/Spring season concerts. Other recent concert appearances include Soprano Soloist in Mozart’s Requiem (St. Patrick’s Cathedral – Harrisburg, PA), Soprano Soloist in the Baltimore Musicales final concert season honoring the Life and Music of Rosa Ponselle, and as Soprano Soloist in the inaugural concert for The Catalyst Crescendo Concert Series (Baltimore,MD). 

Ms. Gill has performed with many of Washington Metropolitan Area’s musical organizations including Maryland Lyric Opera, Wilmington Concert Opera, Opera Camerata of Washington, Washington Savoyards, Baltimore Musicales, Annapolis Shakespeare Company, and the Landon Symphonette. Musical highlights include Mimì and Musetta (La Bohème), Serpina (La serva padrona), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), La Contessa (Le Nozze di Figaro), Micaëla (Carmen), and Suor Angelica (Suor Angelica).
